1. What is Taktsang Monastery?
Also known as the Tiger’s Nest, it is a 17th-century monastery perched on a cliff 900 meters above the Paro Valley. Legend says Guru Padmasambhava flew here on the back of a tiger.
2. How long is the hike?
The trek from Satsam Chorten to the viewpoint takes about 2 hours uphill. Walking pace and rest stops may extend this time.
3. What can I expect on the trail?
